Educational Requirements
Applicants must have one of the following degrees:
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
BSc in Chemistry
Experience in pharmaceutical, medicine, or chemical industries is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Formulation Development
Develop and optimize pharmaceutical dosage forms such as solid and liquid formulations.
Conduct laboratory and pilot-scale formulation trials.
Analytical and Laboratory Work
Prepare buffers, mobile phases, and samples for analytical studies.
Operate and troubleshoot advanced laboratory equipment in Galenical laboratories.
Documentation and Compliance
Prepare and maintain Master Formula Records (MFR), Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Ensure documentation follows WHO cGMP, USFDA, and UK-MHRA guidelines.
Technology Transfer
Support scale-up and technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing.
Assist in validation batches and process optimization.
Stability Studies
Coordinate accelerated, intermediate, and long-term stability studies.
Analyze stability results for regulatory submissions.
Product Launch Support
Provide technical assistance during product launches and manufacturing scale-up.
Team Collaboration
Guide junior officers in laboratory work and compliance practices.
Maintain data integrity and regulatory compliance.
