Education Requirement
Candidates must have one of the following:
M.Sc in Chemistry
M.Sc in Applied Chemistry
M.Pharm (Master of Pharmacy)
The degree should be from a reputed university.
Experience Requirement
3 to 5 years of experience
Preferably in Cosmetics / Toiletries / Personal Care manufacturing companies
Experience in quality control laboratories, product testing, or quality assurance operations will be highly valuable.
Key Responsibilities
The Executive – Quality Operations will mainly ensure that all materials and products meet company quality standards.
1. Product Quality Testing
Perform laboratory analysis of:
Raw materials
Packaging materials
In-process samples
Bulk products
Finished goods
The purpose is to confirm compliance with internal and regulatory specifications.
2. Non-Conformance Investigation
If any material fails to meet specifications, the executive will:
Identify the root cause
Conduct investigations
Implement corrective actions
This helps maintain consistent product quality.
3. Product Trials and Validation
The role also involves:
Participating in product trials
Supporting validation activities
Conducting tests required for product approval
This is important during new product development or process improvement.
4. Quality Management System Compliance
The company follows international quality standards such as:
ISO 9001:2015
ISO 22716:2007
The executive must ensure proper documentation, records, and compliance with these standards.
5. Laboratory Equipment Maintenance
Another important responsibility is:
Ensuring laboratory instruments are calibrated and maintained
Following SOP-based maintenance schedules
Additional Skills Preferred
The company also prefers candidates who have:
Training in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
Training in GLP (Good Laboratory Practice)
Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, documentation)
